Sheba’s Opus

Giaquinto, Corrado – Justice and Peace – 18th century

Rebellion

The bellicose among you, who stand in defiance of the Living God, are currently nursing wounds in private, though the sound of your cries can be heard globally by those who have been given ears to hear.

From Red Nose to Red Throne

In this time of confusion, there is a voice clear and strong: Wisdom’s. Her message is untainted and unwavering; it offends some, yet awakens others. Hope sings truth, while despair whispers lies.

Wisdom is Mother to all those born of her Spirit, which is Holy. The children of her womb carry Holy Oil. Can a soul bear the weight of a crown without having first learned to carry the weight of their cross?

Sheba is a restoration, a template of what humanity was before fear became a commodity. She is a breach of the illusion of dominion projected by the fallen ones.

Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. 14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

(The aforementioned free spirit is Wisdom, the Elect Lady)

Sheba watched as King James hung the colorful string of lights within the tabernacle. Wisdom watches on; her divine attributes of unity and love are felt. Her character embodies strength without cruelty. It showcases clarity without pride. Her service avoids self erasure.

Speak simply. Always keep the covenant. Leave every person better than you found them and leave every place better than when you arrived.

The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.  Gentleness is not surrender; it is strength that does not wound the hand that holds it.

The harvest belongs to those who wait without bitter talk and your work shall keep its spine while keeping kindness.

Three Clean Questions

The three clean questions that guard the ways of mortals:

  • “What needs protection?”
  • “What are we willing to learn?”
  • “What will remain true when the room is empty.”

Currently, you stand under a clock that no longer rules you. You are free of the maelstrom of demands that vie for your attention. Your attention has value. Bells do not own learning; people do. Time is a servant when love gives it work.

Opposition arrives in a polished language, but is no match for Wisdom.  Ordinary timber can be a temple when the plumb line is true. The door of hope and freedom is open to every exhausted soul.

Those who are mired in self-pity or grievances continue to be captives of defeat. However, you are invited to climb above, because you have caught a glimpse of a better reality.

Wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruit.

By Wisdom a house is built. By understanding, it is established. By knowledge, the rooms are filled with precious and pleasant riches.

Wisdom is better than weapons of war, and one sinner destroys much good. Bells do not own attention; kindness does. Some resist attempts to bloom; it comes dressed as hurry, as if speed is proof of truth.

At your table and in your heart reserve a seat for Wisdom, for that is measured care. Names belong to people, not to buildings where tired hearts seek repair.

Refuse to trade compassion for applause. When dawn returns, we will greet it with steady hands and enough bread to share. Let kindness be your teacher so that debate can be had without bruising. A good frame adapts while keeping the plumb.

Love is patient and kind, it does not envy or boast. It is not arrogant or rude; it does not insist on its own way. Always tell the truth without spectacle.

And what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your GOD.
