The Long Road Home

Mighty men of renown sought to destroy the ways of the Great Spirit in the Sky. His laws, written on the hearts of his people, were hotly contested by freedom fighters who claimed independence from all authority. Rebellion broke out across the land, a rampant revolt against the Sky God.

Each centennial gunpowder rocket is shot into the air as the crushing of old ways is celebrated with fire in the sky. Evil is called good and goodness is retitled as foolishness. Family allegiance and tribal unity are replaced with man-made pillars; spiritual consciousness is eschewed in favor of faithlessness. Contempt is a weapon forged with brutal fierceness towards all who follow the narrow path.

For, you children of light have heard from the beginning we should love one another.

Truth tellers are murdered, their bodies a silent reproof of a dwindling reserve. Courage is low among the few soldiers remaining on the battlefield. Masked insurgency rises to topple righteousness once and for all.

Either slave to The Spirit or slave to the system.

Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit. Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? Why is he spoiled?

The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant. Also the children of Noph and Tahapanes have broken the crown of thy head. Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, when he led thee by the way

Lines are drawn, sides are chosen. Two fathers, one is a thief that comes but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:

The Holy One comes to give life more abundantly, hidden is He and those who seek shall find.

Persons. Mass Deception. Betrayals. Battlefields. Casualties. Removal policies. Genocide. Ethnic cleansing. Land expropriation.  Prophets denigrated. Confusion. Sacred rights demolished. Death marches.

The son of Jack speaks, “Our removal policy will separate the Indians from immediate contact with settlements of free whites; free them from the power of the States; enable them to pursue happiness in their own way and under their own rude institutions; will retard the progress of decay, which is lessening their numbers, and perhaps cause them gradually, under the protection of the government and through the influence of good counsels, to cast off their savage habits and become an interesting, civilized, and Christian community.

Which translated to the common tongue is thus: “We will bind the spirits of the Sky God’s children so they will cast off their identity. We will teach them to worship our lord Baal and not the Great Spirit in the sky. We will call our culture Christianity.” And: “We will condition the children of light and they will obey our father, the wicked one.”

A cacophony of calamity. Rampant illegal settlement. Intimidation. Character assassination. Mass murder. Internment. Coercion. Extortion. Harassment. Degradation. Forced relocation. Exposure. Malnutrition. Torture. Disease. Hate. Evil council. Remanded sons. Sharp knife. Treaties. Perpetuated division. Manifest destiny. Colonial domination. Forced exile. Demarcation. Trails of tears. Chiefs without crowns. Indoctrination. Cultural ruin.

Imposed capitalism. Loss of ancient connections to homelands and sacred sites. Oppression gives birth to depression. They became what was poured into them. Tears ran in streams and like watercolors, the spirits of men lost their once beautiful vibrancy.

Environmental deprivation against the land people by historically paternalistic and deeply entrenched bureaucratic structures are felt and understood.

The Great Spirit calls man to repentance by visions, by afflictions, by his greatness. Holy feasts are desperately cast aside. The solemnly commanded days are forgotten; most do not remember the Creator of All.  

Sly and cunning children of Belial have enslaved hearts and minds with pagan idolatry. Ears are stopped.

The Great Spirit speaks once, yes twice, yet man perceives it not.

A remembrance is made of long ago of the time the Great Spirit spoke to father Abraham while he waited in the land of Moriah. “And in thy seed shall all the nations be blessed, because though hast obeyed my voice”, and so it is the spiritual seed of Abraham who have been gifted to recognize the sound of their Father’s voice.

A notable prophet of the Most High God declares from on high, “The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.”

A son is born, His name is Immanuel. The ears of Jacob are not stopped. As the servant John sayeth, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life through his name”.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Abraham’s seed praises their God. They know to glory in tribulations for it worketh patience which becomes hope and hope makes them not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in their hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto them.

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

The Sky God calls down to his daughter, ‘Go child, I have quickened you. I have placed My word in your mouth, it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

Again, He calls out across the water, “Stand up and tell them everything that I command you. Do not be intimidated by them, or I will terrify you before them. Now behold, this day I have made you like a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land.…”

Hear O people what the Sovereign Lord says.

“These men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?  Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the Lord will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.

Therefore, say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the Lord will answer him by myself: And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.”

Remind my children of the words I placed in the mouth of my son Jeremiah, cause them to remember.

Thy people will return from their enemy’s land, so there is hope for you in the future, your children will return to their own land.

A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children.

I AM THAT I AM.

I am The Good Father, the Great Spirit.

If ye then, being evil, have knowledge to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Therefore, all things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you yourselves even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. I have said to fear not. The sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.

Do not be like those who call on me and do not do what I say. For the LORD sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but do lie — behold, I will make them to come and worship at thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Be mindful of this, John the Revelator saw a huge crowd, too huge to count. Everyone was there—all nations and tribes, all races and languages. And they were standing, dressed in white robes and waving palm branches, standing before the Throne and the Lamb and heartily singing: Salvation to our God on his Throne.

PAUL FACES STOICKS

Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.

And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is?

For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.  (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)

Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. 

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter. (Book of Acts 17:18-32)
